1:30 a.m. The suspect moved the victim separately, saying, "I'll walk you to school," and CCTV footage showed the suspect helping the victim into the building (Ganggang-dong). At the time of the incident, there was no other party than these two in the lecture building of the college.
Around 2:30 a.m.: The suspect's cell phone was last filmed, and the victim crashed from the third floor. Since then, the victim has been neglected for more than an hour, but passers-by has not found it. Even after the crash, the victim was alive, and the suspect's neglect caused the victim's death.
3:49 AM: Victim found by pedestrians. At that time, the clothes were peeled off, and a lot of blood was bleeding not only from the head but also from the ears and mouth. The victim was in cardiac arrest at the time of discovery and was transferred by the fire department (119).
Around 7 a.m.: Victim died.
The police checked eyewitness accounts and CCTV in the university and investigated the circumstances of the incident. The victim's top was found at the crash site, but underwear believed to belong to the victim was found on the floor of the outer wall of the building about 10 meters away from where the victim collapsed. In response, the police saw the possibility that the perpetrator attempted to destroy evidence.
The police found the cell phone of a first-year student at the same school inside the building where the crime was committed and conducted an investigation. The suspect was initially investigated as a reference, but confessed to sexually assaulting a female student during the investigation and causing a woman to fall and die. Police immediately arrested the man on charges of rape and death.
[At around 12pm]
The police disclosed the fact that the suspect was arrested urgently and announced that they would investigate the mobile phone in a forensic manner.
[At around 6pm]
Police appear to have fallen from the third floor of the building after the victim was sexually assaulted.
[About 9pm]
The police obtained CCTV footage of the man and the victim moving to Ganggang-dong together, and investigated whether the man murdered them after sexual assault.

Afternoon: Incheon Michuhol Police Station applied for an arrest warrant to the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office. The Incheon District Prosecutors' Office requested an arrest warrant on charges of quasi-rape.
Around 9 p.m.: The National Forensic Service announced that the results of the first autopsy were not particularly noticeable.
[July 17]
Mid-morning: The suspect admitted in a police investigation that the victim fell from a building and died, but denied the intention of the murder. Based on the suspect's statement, the police applied for an arrest warrant on charges of "death" applied when there is no intention of murder. However, if further investigation confirms that the suspect intentionally crashed the victim from the building, the charge will be changed to murder. The police conducted various field experiments to see if the fall was intentional murder or an accident caused by a physical fight.
3:20 p.m.: The suspect was asked by a reporter during his appearance at the Incheon District Court for a warrant hearing and briefly replied, "I'm sorry," when asked if he had anything to say to the victim. No other questions were answered.
3:30 p.m.: The Incheon District Court conducted a warrant review an hour and a half later than expected, and Ko Bum-jin, a judge on duty at the Incheon District Court, was in charge of the hearing.

[July 18]
Around 2 p.m.: Police say they will decide through further investigation whether to charge the suspect with quasi-rape or rape and murder, and send him to the prosecution on the 22nd with an opinion of arrest and indictment.
Around 5 p.m.: The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Personal Disclosure Deliberation Committee decided not to consider disclosing the suspect's personal information. This is because the suspect's charges are classified as "semi-rape death" and are not subject to personal information disclosure.
Around 8 p.m.: Police found a recording of the situation at the time of the incident on the cell phone of the arrested suspect. After the digital forensics, the police will summon the suspect tomorrow for an investigation.
[July 19]
Morning: Police say CCTV checks show the victim was left unattended for more than an hour after falling from the building. An official from the fire department said, "The victim was in a 'pre-heart attack' condition with weak breathing and pulse, and died during treatment at the hospital."
12 p.m.: Police say they have obtained a video file containing the situation at the time from a mobile phone that the suspect left at the scene of the crime. This seems to be a trace of attempting to shoot illegally at the time of the crime, which increases the possibility that the special law on the punishment of sexual violence crimes as well as the existing quasi-rape death crimes will be applied. However, the video was not filmed properly, and only the sound was recorded. The police will also consider whether the crime of filming using cameras can be applied in this case.
Around 8 p.m.: Police reveal the suspect's statement that he "found out of the crash, but fled in fear and embarrassment." In addition, the suspect reportedly left his clothes elsewhere and fled to his own room after the victim crashed to the first floor.
[July 22nd]
Around 8 a.m.: Incheon Michuhol Police Station sent the suspect to the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office on charges of filming using cameras under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes. The reason for applying death, not murder, is that the police have not secured any evidence that the victim was pushed by force just before the crash or that the suspect used force to push him.
It was predicted that murder charges by "unintentional intention" or "inaction" could be applied to the act of fleeing while leaving the victim, but the police judged that it was difficult to apply the charges. In order for the charge of "being able to save it, but not on purpose," to be applied, it is necessary to know whether it is alive or not, because the suspect stated that the victim fled immediately without confirmation after the crash.
The Incheon District Prosecutors' Office said it has formed a team dedicated to the case for the suspect in this case. After receiving a case against the suspect from the police, the prosecution has organized three prosecutors' offices with the deputy prosecutor of the Women and Children's Crime Investigation Department as the team leader. A prosecution official said, "We have formed a team in consideration of the gravity of the matter, and we will thoroughly investigate all charges."
In a police investigation, the suspect reportedly replied that he did not remember the crash well, that the button was pressed by mistake for illegal filming, and that he refused to answer for leaving the scene.
[July 23rd]
According to an MBC report, the police specified the exact time of the crime of the suspect arrested on charges of quasi-rape death between 2:20 a.m. and 30 a.m. on the 15th. At the time of the crime, the evidence was found in the video illegally filmed on the suspect's cell phone, and the video was not properly filmed, but the sound was recorded. The police also confirmed that the suspect dragged the victim up to the third floor using an elevator.
[July 27]
Lee Won-seok, acting prosecutor general (chief prosecutor of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office), ordered a thorough investigation into the death of a student sexual assault on campus at Inha University and to prevent secondary damage. The prosecution was instructed to provide all necessary support, including digital forensics, video analysis, and legal review, centering on the Supreme Prosecutors' Office's scientific investigation and criminal department. As a result, the prosecution will do its best to find out the truth, support the bereaved families of the victims, and prevent secondary damage.
On July 22, around 8 a.m., the Incheon Michuhol Police Station sent the suspect to the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office on charges of filming using a camera. Charges under the Special Act have been applied to the suspect regarding the punishment of quasi-rape and sexual violence crimes. The reason why the murder charge was applied in this case is that the police did not secure evidence that the victim was pushed by any force just before the crash or that the suspect used force to push him.
Although the suspect could have been accused of murder by "unintentional intention" or "inaction" for fleeing while leaving the fallen victim, the police found it difficult to apply the charges. In order for the charge of "being able to save it, but not on purpose," it was necessary to know whether the victim was alive or not, because the suspect stated that he fled immediately without checking after the crash.
The Incheon District Prosecutors' Office has set up a dedicated team on this case. The team consisted of three laboratories, led by the vice-president of the Women's and Child Crime Investigation Division. A prosecution official said, "We have formed a team in consideration of the gravity of the matter," adding, "We will thoroughly investigate all charges."
The suspect stated in a police investigation that he "does not remember well" about the crash, and refused to make a statement about the departure from the scene, claiming that the button was accidentally pressed for illegal filming.
According to an MBC report on July 23, the police specified the suspect's crime time between 2:20 a.m. and 30 a.m. on the 15th. We confirmed this time zone based on illegally filmed videos and sounds recorded on the suspect's cell phone. The police also confirmed that the suspect dragged the victim up to the third floor using an elevator.
On July 27, Lee Won-seok, acting prosecutor general, ordered a thorough investigation into the death of a student sexual assault at Inha University and to prevent secondary damage. The prosecution ordered the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of Scientific Investigation and Criminal Affairs to provide necessary support such as digital forensics, video analysis, and legal review.
On August 1, the detention period was extended once.
On August 9, the prosecution charged the suspect with rape and murder. The prosecution said, "We applied the murder charge in consideration of the structural characteristics of the crime scene, the victim's state of consciousness, and the fall from a high place." However, they did not indict the charges of filming using cameras.
On Aug. 16, the prosecution indicted the victim, judging that the fall was a murder by 'act'. If convicted of murder such as rape, death or life imprisonment may be imposed. In addition, the victim's blood alcohol concentration was quite high, and he was found to have been injected with fluids and blood at the hospital after the fall, so he was in a "semi-coma" state just before the fall. There was no sign of the victim's hand touching or painting on the wall, and no oxidation reaction was detected on the wall that appeared to have been supported by the victim. In addition, on the victim's upper abdomen, a pressed mark on the window frame was found after a long time.
In addition, a digital forensics of the suspect's cell phone confirmed that the video filming did not end automatically, but that someone forced it. The video was recorded only by voice for about 29 minutes from just before attempting sexual assault to immediately after the victim crashed. At the beginning of the video, a voice that seemed to be rebellious was recorded, and after about 20 minutes, a cry was recorded. After the crash was heard, the suspect's voice and the cell phone turned off were recorded.
The suspect stated that he pushed the victim at the time of the initial police investigation, but later reversed his statement.
On August 18, the first trial, originally scheduled for September 1, was postponed to the 13th.
