In 2022, South Korea's Gwangmyeong Three Maternal and Child Murder in which Father Killed a Family

 On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in an apartment in Soha-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, A (45 years old at the time) killed his wife B (42 years old at the time) and his two sons (15 years old and 10 years old at the time). Immediately after the murder, A went to a PC room, watched an animation, and returned home at around 11:27 p.m. and reported to 119 that his family was dead. Paramedics and police who received the report confirmed that there were no signs of outside intrusion, and found a weapon used in the murder and clothes worn at the time of the crime, and said A confessed to the crime. According to the testimony of the neighbors, he testified that he heard a thumping sound that was not normally heard at the time of the crime.
